About Us
Siscan Publications is a Canadian self-publishing company. The website offers for purchase, stories written by D.E. Krusky and workbooks created by L. Richards.
The stories written by D.E. Krusky are available in hard copy print and also available in .pdf format. The workbooks are available in hard copy print, .pdf format and Microsoft Word Templates.
Please be advised that these products are subject to all Policies, Warranties and Disclaimer on this entire site and should be read very carefully. As the purchaser of the electronic files, you have legal access to print personal copies for your own use but you may not print out copies for use by those without legal access.

All Prices on this site are in Canadian funds.
Shipping within Canada $5.00 - $10.00 per order, plus $5.00 for each item - Estimated arrival time 6-14 business days from date of shipment
Shipping within USA $12.00 per order, plus $5.00 for each item - Estimated arrival time 6-14 business days from date of shipment
Contact us for large quantities or quick courier services.
**Any duties or taxes levied against packages arriving from outside the destination country are determined by local Customs and Immigration agencies and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Once your product leaves our facility, we cannot control or influence the carriers shipping schedule. Situations such as severe weather and other issues may impact delivery times. We also cannot change a delivery address or shipping method once your order is placed. Shipping rates are a base rate that is charged at the time of purchase and is calculated per item purchased.
• Pricing, payments, taxes. All applicable taxes will be charged according to jurisdiction.
All prices are subject to change without notice. We accept PayPal and Visa. We will bill your visa card when your order ships including any shipping rates. We collect GST on all orders. PST is not applicable on certain items.
• Returns, refunds on hard copy books If you are unhappy with any of our books/workbooks, please contact us via phone or email immediately. We will promptly return your product within 15 days of delivery for a full refund (your shipping costs included) provided the product is in its original condition. We will notify you by email when your refund has been processed.
• NO REFUNDS ON ELECTRONIC FILES Sorry, but no refunds are possible for downloadable online books/files/templates. Please be sure of your purchases before buying.
• LICENSING POLICY ON ELECTRONIC FILES When you choose to purchase electronic books/files/templates from Siscan Books, you are granted an individual license for use of the book/file/template for your personal use only. Please do not share it with friends, colleagues or other persons any differently than you would share a printed book. Purchaser’s of the book/file/template have legal access to print copies for their own use but may not print out copies for use by those without legal access. Under no circumstances may copies of the electronic files be made available on public web sites, ftp sites, mailing lists or by any other publicly accessible means.
• DISCLAIMER ON ELECTRONIC FILES By purchasing and/or using any product from Siscan Books, the “user” understands that the product may contain errors and/or other inaccuracies that may result in a failure to use the product itself or other software claiming to utilize any proposed or finalized or recommendations referenced therein. Consequently, it is provided “AS IS” and Siscan Books disclaims any warranty, conditions or liability obligations to the “user” of any kind. The “user” understands and agrees that Siscan Books does not make any express, implied, or statutory warranty or condition of any kind for the product including, but not limited to, any warranty or condition with regard to satisfactory quality, merchantable quality, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose, or such arising by law, statute, usage of trade, course of dealing or otherwise.
In no event will Siscan Books be liable for;
(a) punitive or aggravated damages;
(b) any direct or indirect damages, including any lost profits, lost savings, damaged data or other commercial or economic loss, or any other incidental or consequential damages even if Siscan Books or any of its representatives have been advised of the possibility of such damages or they are foreseeable; or
(c) for any claim of any kind by any other party. The “user” acknowledges and agrees that they bear the entire risk as to the quality of the product.
• Invoices / receipts for purchases. We do not include any pricing information with your shipment. You will receive a copy of your invoice, including pricing information, via email after you order ships. If you need a duplicate copy sent via email or fax, send us an email with your request (please include your order number). Electronic files will receive invoice/receipts after your purchase is processed. If you require a printed copy of the invoice/receipt please contact us at info@siscanbooks.com

Reproductive uses are prohibited without the express written authorization of Siscan Books or the copyright owner. Siscan Books / (authors) own and are responsible for all copyright notices covering the images, text and any other accompanying acknowledgements. Any commercial or publication use is strictly prohibited. Copying, redistribution, or exploitation for personal or corporate gain is not permitted. You are authorized to view, copy, print and distribute the content at Siscan Books under the following conditions;
a) It is used for informational, non-commercial purposes only.
b) Any copy/portion of copy must include “Siscan Books ©2006”.
c) No modifications are made.
d) And Siscan Books reserves the right to revoke such authorization at any time and any such use shall be discontinued upon written notice from Siscan Books.

The Agreement acts as the relationship between this site, Siscan Books and you, “the visitor” and with respect to your use of this “Site”. You acknowledge and agree that the information, products and/or services that this site provides shall remain the property of Siscan Books and/or its licensors/authors, and are protected by copyright and/or other propriety rights and laws. You agree not to copy, distribute, transmit, display, or create derivative works of this Site or any of the materials. In return, Siscan Books allows you limited and personal access to the Site for the purpose of viewing/purchasing products or to print out pages of this Site for you personal and non-commercial use.

e) Siscan Books is not responsible for contents or control over linked sites and by offering such links does not indicate any approval or endorsement of any materials/products contained on said sites. Any persons who choose to access the Site, material or purchase products, do so at their own risk and are responsible for complying with local laws. We reserve the right to limit our jurisdiction, geographic area or limit our availability of the Site to any person(s). In the event a dispute arises under this Agreement, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction stated above.
i) Should any part of this Agreement prove to be unlawful or unenforceable, that part would be removed from this Agreement but the remaining parts of this Agreement remain valid and enforceable?
j) This Agreement, along with all our policies, is an agreement between you and us while you use this Site, materials or products. Any changes to this agreement between you and Siscan requires our written consent.
k) Any comments or materials sent to Siscan Books, including feedback, questions/comments will be considered to be non-confidential and Siscan Books will have no obligation to respond unwillingly and shall be free to use, reproduce, distribute and display publicly those said comments/materials without limitation. Siscan Books shall be free to use any of those ideas, concepts/techniques contained in any response for any purpose such as marketing, developing or the manufacturing of those ideas, concepts or techniques.

• The foregoing Privacy Policy explains the personal information that Siscan Books (“we”, “us”) collects in Canada at our website www.siscanbooks.com (the “Site”) and the intentions to use that information. It should be noted that this Privacy Policy applies to the online information that you submit to the site and does not apply to the practices we use offline or outside of Canada. A User Transaction ID is created to keep track of your order. We do not store any of your personal information.
• The personal information that we do collect is restricted to providing information to designees that require such information to enable them to perform Site-related duties or services (processing orders, etc). We do not provide your personal information to third parties.
