The Many Faces of War - Category - Military
“In honour of our Canadian soldiers past and present.”
I would like to begin by introducing my latest work. In the latter months of 2009 the release
of my third self-published book "The Many Faces of War," became a reality. The book took
on a more serious nature as the topic itself was difficult to write about. Many hours of
research, gathering articles, letters, stories and photos from Canadian citizens held top
priority. The book commanded attention on a daily basis. Through its work it is hoped that the
reader understands how war effects all of us no matter what status we hold in life. As written
above the book is to give honour to our troops from past and present day wars. Also, it must
be noted that our fine soldiers have taken on a role of peacemakers in the past and we thank
them. Click on the book and you will be directed to the Siscan Virtual Bookstore.

As Veterans of the Royal Canadian Legions of various Ottawa, Ontario, Canadian Branches state, “It has been too long since the soldiers felt such pride from the public.” These words I hold dear to my heart. For these brave men and women they feel good about being remembered. When you purchase a book two dollars will be donated to the organization http://www.woundedwarriors.ca The monies will assist the soldiers and their families in dealing with the stress that comes upon their return home from tour.

they kept low and out of sight
